Mt Stirling
The Mt Stirling project is another of Cascade’s advanced projects. It is located 40km northwest of Leonora and 8km northwest of the 2.6Moz Tarmoola (King of the Hills) mine. The project has a total area of 2,329 ha and lies on 19 granted Prospecting Licenses. Summarised details of the project are listed below:
JORC Resources:
The project currently has 2 JORC resources (Inferred) of 259,750t @ 2.44g/t Au for 20,380 oz and 41,250t @ 8.54g/t Au for 11,327 oz.
Both resources remain open in all directions.
Mineralisation:
The project has seen modest historic production of 3,354t @ 52.02g/t Au.
This project has 3 main targets with near surface mineralisation.
Significant drill highlights include:
- 2m @ 48.00g/t from 106m;
- 2m @ 26.90g/t from 27m; and
- 4m @ 5.30g/t from 32m.
Near-Term Production:
The project is located within proximity to milling infrastructure with excess capacity.
